The 4.0 project is divided into three main themes:
The first is "intelligent industrial intelligent manufacturing/industrial plant", i.e., industrial all-automation equipment, focusing on intelligent production system and process, as well as the realization of networked distributed production facilities;
The second is "intelligent production", which is mainly involved in the production and logistics management of the whole enterprise, human-computer interaction and the application of 3D technology in the process of industrial production. The program draws with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in, try to make small and medium-sized enterprises to become a new generation of intelligent manufacturing technology users and beneficiaries, also become the creator of the advanced industrial production technology and suppliers;
Three is "smart logistics", namely the Internet of things, mainly through the Internet, logistics network, integration of logistics resources, give full play to the efficiency of the existing logistics resources providers, while the demand side can quickly get matching service, logistics support.
"Intelligent factory" is an industrial automation, which is one of the important prerequisites for intelligent manufacturing, mainly in the field of mechanical manufacturing and electrical engineering, providing the complete flexible product line for the factory. Currently widely used in Germany and the manufacturing of "embedded system", it is to embed the mechanical or electrical parts completely controlled device, a special computer system is a specific application design. The data show that the "embedded system" has a market benefit of 20 billion euros per year, and that figure will rise to 40 billion euros by 2020.
